Oxygen-Converter Chain of Alchevian steelworks

As part of the modernization of the Alchevsk steelworks combine, the “Riola-Module LTD” performed work to expand the converter section of the oxygen – converter plant. A metal frame of the building, with a weight of 2,200 tons, was built and installed, and 600 tons of crane runways were installed.

After reconstruction, the oxygen – converter plant includes equipment from 2 converters with volume of 300 tons each, with production of 5.2 million tons of steel a year.
